Want to find a research collaborator?

If you are a researcher outside of the HSE, you may wish to establish a working relationship with an HSE researcher. This is a Director of Research Official Collaborator (DROC). The use of HSE databases for research purposes requires establishing a formal relationship with an HSE researcher to ensure that all HSE protocols in relation to data utilisation, governance and protection are adhered to. It is the job of the DROC to ensure that HSE standards are adhered to and it is their responsibility to ensure that you as a collaborator operate within established HSE strictures.

If you wish to make contact with a potential collaborator you can do so informally but if you need a steer you can do so by completing the following brief form and we may be able to point you in the right direction. DROCs needs to confirm with the Research Directorate that they are taking on such a roll and are aware of the responsibilities involved.
