The Research Directorate can award Honorary Research Fellowships to appropriate researchers who meet the following criteria:
- The applicant must be a named researcher in a study currently approved by the Ethics/Research Governance process.
- The applicant must be an HSE employee working to a named consultant.
- The study must be deemed to have reasonable scientific merit (P&O quotient of 3 – 5)
The title of “Honorary Research Fellow” will be granted to the successful applicant for a period of one year (renewable) by the directorate.
