Honorary Research Fellowships

The Research Directorate can award Honorary Research Fellowships to appropriate researchers who meet the following criteria:

  1. The applicant must be a named researcher in a study currently approved by the Ethics/Research Governance process.
  2. The applicant must be an HSE employee working to a named consultant.
  3. The study must be deemed to have reasonable scientific merit (P&O quotient of 3 – 5)

The title of “Honorary Research Fellow” will be granted to the successful applicant for a period of one year (renewable) by the directorate.

Honorary Research Fellows will have access to the facilities of the Research Directorate and specifically the Study room (bookable), Conference room(bookable) and access to our Bio statistician (bookable via this website)together with PPI support.
